What is Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is the world's first decentralized digital currency, created in 2009. Unlike traditional money controlled by banks and governments, Bitcoin operates on a peer-to-peer network maintained by thousands of computers worldwide.
How Bitcoin mining works
Miners run specialized computers that validate transactions and secure the Bitcoin network. In return for the electricity and computation they contribute, they earn newly issued Bitcoin and transaction fees.
That computation produces a lot of heat. In a traditional mining setup, that heat gets vented outside or actively cooled away. Wasted.
Why ReHash
An electric heater turns 100% of its electricity into heat. So does a Bitcoin miner. The difference is the miner also earns sats while it heats. We take retired industrial mining hardware and redesign it as a quiet 120V space heater that prints sats while it warms your space.

About Us
ReHash Heating exists to bring bitcoin mining heat reuse to as many homes as possible. We think it's one of the best ways to decentralize mining, push back against the "bitcoin uses too much energy" narrative, and bridge the gap between digital and physical. Plus we love building these things.
We've been designing, building, and running personal home hashrate heating devices for several years and believe that every bitcoiner, current and future, who needs heat should be using hashrate to generate it.
While there are many great options for brand new home mining devices, we've found that "retired" industrial hardware can be given new life with a few modifications. We clean, hand-assemble, test, and tune each unit before shipping and provide guidance so you don't need to be an expert to get started.
Every unit gets dialed in on the test bench with its hashrate pointed at the open-source 256 Foundation pool. Open source hardware, software, pools, and hashrate in every home: that's what decentralized mining looks like.
Every unit we ship contains hardware that would have otherwise been sitting in a warehouse or landfill. Let's stop leaving hashrate on the table and instead get it online and paying plebs.
